"Happy Being Me"

Have you ever wondered how some people seem to have the ability to be
happy, no matter how much the odds are stacked up against them, while
others appear to have an uncanny way of being unhappy even when faced
with the best of health, wonderful relationships, and ‘success’ in their
lives? Latest advances in neuroscience prove that happiness is a skill which
we can learn, simply and easily.
You will learn how we all, unfortunately, have a natural bias towards
negativity, due to our ancestral survival mechanisms. Some scientists say
that our brains have an in-built ability to be like ‘Velcro for bad
experiences and Teflon for the good ones!’ You will learn how we can
refocus our awareness of life events in a positive way which is not only
important, but vital for a happy, healthy life.
‘Happy Being You’ is a brief practical workshop incorporating mindfulness
and resilience building. Attendees will be able to learn in a fun way,
through practical exercises and discussion. It’s completely free and
